After two virtual commencement ceremonies, the easing of COVID-19 restrictions meant graduates were able to walk across the stage and celebrate in person on Saturday, May 8. Thirty-six graduates attended the outdoor ceremony, while another seven celebrated online. Go to the Penn State Beaver website to replay the ceremony. Director of Academic Affairs Carey McDougall said, “Being able to march with our graduating students and be on the stage with them as they received their diploma, looking out into the audience to see their family and friends, was an incredibly moving culmination to a challenging academic year. Our students worked so hard this past year, and we were so glad to celebrate their accomplishments in person.”
